The Parker Weekly is the student run newspaper of Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, IL. It has been published by students continuously since 1911[1], making it one of the oldest student-run high school newspapers in the United States. The Parker Weekly (often shortened to The Weekly[2]) is published monthly by the Editors-in-Chief and is subject to administrative censorship. With a staff of over 40 students and an active panel of guest writers, The Weekly serves as an open forum for members of the Parker community. The Weekly is supported by an endowment created in memory of former Editor-in-Chief Brad Davis[3][4], allowing the paper to be distributed free of cost. Issues of The Weekly are printed in black and white on newsprint and are typically 20 pages long. The current Editors-in-Chief are Sammy Kagan '19, Avani Kalra '20, and Sophia Saker '19.
