Usually entertaining packed houses wherever he appeared. Although most known for night clubs, Steele did broadcast on AM radio from time to time and was known for mixing Disco, Dusties, Motown and what he called Blue-Eyed soul music. In 1981 he formed a band called “Steele Reaction” and wrote a ballad entitled “Where is the Love”. Not to be confused with legendary Jocks such as Don, Bill or Richard; The Real Steele performed in Texas, Indiana and Illinois. Receiving the coveted DISC JOCKEY MUSIC AWARD in 1986! He has since become the author of (12) Novels to date; in paperback and electronic media. These include, The Real Steele D. J. How to write a Screenplay, Love Secrets, Star Cruiser and How to Vote. His legacy will be, he was the first night club D. J. to mix the old music with the new consistently.
