The United Women’s Ball Hockey Foundation is a non-profit run entirely on Volunteer support! If you love ball hockey and want to support the growth of the women’s game, please consider donating time or resources to UWBHF. We relay on volunteers to help make Draft Leagues, Clinics, and Tournaments possible for our women’s and youth ball hockey community. The United Women’s Ball Hockey Foundation (UWBHF) was founded to support and develop the women’s ball hockey community by providing opportunities for increased women’s participation, advancement, and awareness at a local, regional, and national level. We are the first ball hockey organization run for women by women. Our core values are to have fun and play hockey. We have a grass roots foundation, working with youth programs and communities around the country to run clinics, camps, and tournaments for kids and adults. We want to grow the sport and plan on running fundraising events to grow the Foundation. All proceeds of the events will give back to the community to keep women’s ball hockey growing. From once a week recreational leagues to the highest international competitions, ball hockey can be enjoyed at all skill levels. We are building a community that encourages women to get involved, find out what hockey leagues and tournaments are near them, and put them in touch with regional contacts. For those that play, the simple truth is that this sport gives back tenfold what you put in. Ball hockey has brought people together from various walks of life from all across the country to create an extended family and community. We feel this simple truth should be shared with others and recognized, so that many more young girls can be impacted in such a positive way.
