In The Wives of Los Alamos by Tarashet Nesbit, she takes readers along the lives of the women behind the scenes of history's monumental and secret research project, the creation of the atomic bomb. This novel is told through the wives point of view, and they tell the struggles and successes they have after moving to Los Alamos. This move was very difficult and emotional for the women, because they had to up and leave the home they knew along with their mothers and fathers. These women also did not know any details about why they were moving, for how long they would be gone, or what they would be doing in Los Alamos.
