}}Thirstie, Inc. is an e-commerce and logistics solution for alcohol brands.[2] Founded by serial entrepreneur Devaraj Southworth and Maxim Razmakhin. Thirstie helps to create online alcohol sales by avoiding the need for a redirect to a third-party site. Thirstie’s platform also provides brands with transparency into data, consumer insights analytics and ROI to improve performance marketing.[3] Their software enables liquor brands to sell their products directly on their websites or other interfaces. The Thirstie enterprise solution is currently being used by Moet Hennessy USA (part of LVMH), Makers Mark (part of Beam Suntory), and Drinkworks (a joint venture between Anheuser-Busch InBev and Keurig).[4]

History

Thirstie launched as an on-demand marketplace in the spring of 2014, In 2016, Thirstie acquired DrinkFly, a Chicago-based alcohol delivery company to expand its offering in the Midwest.[5] In early 2017, Thirstie changed its business model to cater exclusively to the needs of large alcohol suppliers. Thirstie was incorporated in 2013, and operates throughout the United States, wherever online liquor sales are legal. To date, the firm had raised over $4 million dollars from private investors.[6][7][8]

The company e-commerce enabled DomPerignon.com[9] for 1-hour delivery in NYC and San Francisco in July 2017 after signing a partnership with Moet Hennessy USA (part of LVMH).[10] In November 2017, Thirstie started powering e-commerce for Clos19.com in the US as the partnership with Moet Hennessy NA expanded. In November 2018, the company added Drinkworks.com (a joint venture between Keurig and Anheuser-Busch InBev) as well as MakersMark.com (owned by Beam Suntory) to the list of its clients.[11][2]

Software

Thirstie’s advanced API solution works within the US three-tier system of suppliers, distributors and retailers. A customer who orders on any of the Thirstie-powered sites has his or her order fulfilled by a retailer nearby, keeping the integrity of the three-tier system intact. These solutions interpret customer behaviors and preferences which aid in a brand’s development of new product offerings and better customer targeting.[12][13]
