The main idea of the framework is to be complex, stable and without dependencies. Total.js is an MVC server-side framework that is highly suitable for creating web applications. It is also very flexible in terms of compatibility with various databases supporting MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and works well with a number of frontend networks, such as AngularJS, React_(JavaScript_library), and Ember.js. Total.js has a modular structure, and its standard package includes various utilities that can be used in web development, such as an SMTP mail sender tool, an image processing tool, a web server, and others. HistoryTotal.js was founded by Peter Sirka. The first release, according to Total.js's GitHub repository, was on the 14th of January, 2014. Version 1.0.0.
