Built on a portion of a horse ranch from which it received inspiration for it's name, the center opened in 2005. It contains 350,000 sf ft of space and is currently anchored by Whole Foods. Other shops and restaurants include Gap, Talbots, Kirklands, New Balance, Zea's P.F. Changs, and Five Guys. The architectural style is Italian Renaissance, echoing the architecture of Louisiana State University, also in Baton Rouge. In 2018, Books-A-Million, a former anchor and the last location in Baton Rouge, closed due to national downsizing. [2] |
