Transatlantic International Company Limited (formerly TRANSATLANTIC EXPRESS LIMITED) is a freight forwarding consultancy agency that incorporated in Freetown, Sierra Leone^[1] in 2004 following half a decade of post conflict service in logistics. By 2016, the company management finalized broadening of its areas of specialty from Clearing and Forwarding to a holistic agency to carter first hand to the list of services it added to its portfolio which include ocean, air freight and land transportation. The company pursued rapid growth and expansion in terms of service provision and in addition to clearing and forwarding in West African, by extending services to North Africa and the USA by providing optimized shipping and logistics to individual customers and corporations importing goods from Asia, Americas and Europe.

Its core objective is to offer customers tailored service required to move their goods with optimized green-logistics. Its list of service includes domestic and special cargo, clearing and forwarding, warehousing & security and consultancy. With offices situated near the Lungi Airport and Freetown sea port, the company offer unparalleled solution in major aspects of shipping and logistics while retaining correspondent and resident agents in Ghana, Guinea-Conakry, Morocco, Indonesia and the USA. In 2016, the company activated its IATA Multilateral e-AWB agreement^[2] with IATA, a legal framework for shipping parties to conclude shipping contracts by electronic means to enable provision of competitive rates on Special Cargo airfreight services to global destinations pursuant to IATA Resolution 672^[3].
