Trapped Magazine is an English London-based media platform for youth culture which was founded as a quarterly print magazine by Kieran Rainford and 3 others in 2013. It covers UK popular Culture news in Fashion, Sneakers, Music and Art. The Magazine's first print issue was in 2013 and was accompanied by an online blog which was updated daily with contributions from university students and freelance bloggers. HistoryTrapped Magazine was established in 2013 in partnership with the NHS and Hastings Borough Council to give local youth the chance to have their talents in Music Arts and creative design discovered outside of their bedrooms and to educate them about taking care of themselves in an engaging way. The magazine was split into two sections, one for Popular culture and the other for Health advice. In 2014 Trapped Magazine's Website and Social media attracted interest from London based PR Companies and Media companies that offered opportunities to expand the content to include London based creatives and to form media partnerships to start advertising popular brands and products on the website. The 2014 Magazine Cover was upcoming rappers and MOBO Award nominees Krept and Konan. The South London Rap duo went on to win the MOBO award later that year and become International Music Stars.
