Trevor J. Williams (born July 13, 1995) is a sports play-by-play baseball, football, soccer, volleyball and basketball journalist for University of North Carolina at Pembroke. [1] Williams earned a B.A. at Washington State University (2017), and began working for the UNCP Sports Network in 2017.

During November 2017, Williams was the play-by-play broadcaster for the Paradise Jam Tournament held in Lynchburg, VA. [2]

College Experience

Williams spent four years in the WSU Sports Information office, has filled-in for the WSU IMG Sports Network, and provided soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball play-by-play for wsucougars.com.

Williams completed his undergraduate degree at Washington State University. He assumed the role of play-by-play broadcaster for all home women’s soccer, volleyball and select baseball games. Williams assisted in media relations for all 15 varsity athletic teams. In addition, he was a feature writer for the football and basketball game day programs. His work was regularly published on wsucougars.com. [3] He also served as a fill-in broadcaster on the WSU IMG Network. His work on the IMG Network provided the opportunity to manage pre- and post-game shows for baseball broadcasts.
