Tsoncho Hristov Rodev (1926-2011) is a Bulgarian writer. He is the author of historical fiction and adventurous novels, stories and novels. BiographyHe was born in Provadia on June 9, 1926. His father Hristo Ts. Rodev (1880-1944) is a lawyer and MP in the XXIII Bulgarian National Assembly. He was killed immediately after September 9, 1944, and later posthumously was "sentenced to death" by the so-called People's Court. Tsoncho Rodev graduated from his home town and at secondary school in Varna, then "Law" at the Sofia University. As a son of a person sanctioned by the People's Court, he had no right to practice a legal profession and undertook writing. He created a number of historical, biographical and adventurous novels and testimonies for children and adolescents, stories. Honorary citizen of Provadia and Sliven (1998).[1] Winner of the Prize of the Sliven Municipality for Literature and Art "Dobri Chintulov" (1998), of the "Ivan Seliminski" (1995) Award for the Birthday Award, the honorary sign "For Civil Contribution" (2006).
