Turkuaz is an American funk band based in Brooklyn, New York. Turkuaz is a nine-person ensemble, known for their high-energy live performances and blending of genres, like Funk, Alternative, Rock, R&B, and Psychedelia.[1] They have appeared at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Hulaween, Okeechobee, Electric Forest, Mountain Jam, Telluride Jazz, High Sierra[2], and Lock’n Music Festival. They have also performed at venues such as, Red Rocks[3], Terminal 5, and The Fillmore[4]. }} HistoryTurkuaz formed out of Boston’s Berklee College of Music scene in 2008 and emerged with their self-titled debut album in 2011. Within the same year, they also released their sophomore album, Zerbert. The band then released their first live album in 2012 followed by another in 2013. Their third album Future 86 was released in 2014 and their fourth album, Digitonium in 2015. Their third live release album, 040717 was released in 2018.
