"Turning Sounds" is an aperiodic music festival (referred to as a 'Meeting') and event series, established in 2003 and organized or co-organized by the "Turning Sounds" Society since 2004 and curated or co-curated by Antoni Beksiak. The main initial premise, as conceived by Andreas Stadler, the director of Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw, the initiator of the event, was to arrange an international crossover forum (as in the name of the institution) for contemporary electronic music creation, involving conference, workshops and performances.[1]
