}}Vincent Xeus (born 1981) is a Chinese American visual artist known for his works of contemporary realism.

Biography

Xeus was born in China in 1981. He began classical training as an artist during his childhood. He graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. Xeus studied at Columbia University and received his Master of Business Administration.[1]

Xeus's works have been featured in various museum exhibitions and international art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, LA Art Show, Art Market San Francisco, Art Market Hamptons, 103rd California Art Club Gold Medal exhibition at Autry National Museum, and American Masters Exhibition at Salmagundi Club in New York.[2][3]

He served as the Board Director of Arts Council of Napa Valley and as Yountville Arts Commissioner. Xeus currently works and resides in Manhattan and Napa Valley.[1]

Xeus was named one of the top 100 artists of the contemporary era by Buzzfeed and PoetsAndArtists.[4][5]

Exhibitions

Xeus’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, and Denmark. His large scale exhibitions include ONE in Gallery 1261, Denver (2018)[6]; Fragmented Traditions in Last Rites Gallery, Manhattan (2016)[6]; Hue is Full in Gallery 1261, Denver (2015)[7][8]; Alternative Vision in Gallery 1261, Denver (2014)[9]; and The Last Pearl in Maxwell Alexander Gallery, Los Angeles (2014).
