It is one of the "two" manufacturers of cymbals in Italy. HistoryVulcan Cymbals was founded in 2018 by Massimiliano "Max" Arrigoni. After 14years of relation ship he had a conflict with Bosphorus Cymbals, Max opened Vulcan in the italian city of Catania. The name 'Vulcan' comes from the name of the big sicilian volcano ('Etna'). The Vulcan cymbals are born from the slopes of Etna, from there the idea is transferred to physical form in Istanbul by Vulcan Master Artisan Cymbal makers. These masters have more than 30 years hammering and lathing experience and have created something very special with Vulcan Cymbals. RangeThe ranges Vulcan offer cross many musical styles, from the great Jazz drummer sound of the 1950’s to the demands of all modern music. In 2018, Vulcan introduced 9 "B20" cymbals series: Classic, Antique, Rock, Etna, White Master, Dark Master, Legend, Vintage and Papa producing 500 units of full hand made cymbals. In 2019, Vulcan will introduce a new concept of HiHat named PlexyTrap and a new series called Legacy. PhilosophyVulcan defines itself as “Shared & Limited” edition Company, ‘limited’ because because it don’t mass produce cymbals to dominate the market, it take its time and produce instruments of hand-made quality.
