Published in the Kiswahili language, Hussein's first play follows the journey of Tatu, a twenty-one year old living in coastal Tanzania (described by Hussein as either Dar es Salaam, Tanga or Bagamoyo[2]) with her father, Juma (Baba Tatu), and mother, Asha (Mama Tatu). The play is one act and consists of five different scenes. A significant time gap separates each scene, the total play spans over the course of three months. Characters[2]As inferred by the text.
