West End Musical Choir is a choir in the United Kingdom and the UK’s largest choir dedicated to musical theatre repertoire working with professional west end musical directors such as Anthony Gabriele who has conducted South Pacific, Blood Brothers, Phantom of the Opera, A Grand Night For Singing, Chess, CATS, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Bye Bye Birdie, The Lion King and more. West End Musical Choir have performed at various events and venues all over London and on 9th September 2017 they completed their debut performance at Disneyland Paris as a part of the Disney Performing Arts programme. HistoryWest End Musical Choir was established in 2015 by Charlie Morrison and started in the Fulham area of London[3], United Kingdom. Starting with just a hand full of members, the choir began and expanded over multiple locations all over London growing to be one of the biggest choirs in London. Public performancesWest End Musical Choir’s first performance was in 2015 that consisted of less than 20 people. The choir only had one song in their repertoire but delivered an exciting performance. Over time and as the choir grew the choir began to perform at high profile events including TV, such as West End Live 2016[4], ITV This Morning, Chelsea Flower Show, Ideal Home Show[5], Taste of London and London Southbank.[6] The choir performed at Hamley's Toy Parade in winter 2017 where the crowds were so big, that the street had to be closed . Abbey Road Studios RecordingIn December 2018 West End Musical Choir attended the famous Abbey Road Studios to record 3 tracks including Beauty and the Beast and Feed The Birds – Mary Poppins. Over 100 members attended the professional recording and tracks were launched to the public for listening. Charity WorkWest End Musical Choir is a small family run choir and through various public events they have partnered with various charities including Marie Curie where they had a Christmas 2017 extravaganza where they helped raise over £500 for the charity.
