In 2017 and 2018, whimn.com.au partnered with Screen Australia for Doco180 for a short-form documentary initiative,[4] that provides funding for emerging, female documentary makers to create 180-second documentaries that aim to have the viewer ‘do a 180’ on a topic relevant to Australian women. It 2018 it also launched a six-part true crime podcast series ‘My Father The Murderer’[5] and online book club, ‘whimn Book Bar’ which pairs a book with a wine, complete with reading and tasting notes, from the author and female sommelier. whimn.com.au also has accounts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter where it uploads various photos, videos and articles on topics that matter for young women.
