}}The game is a turn-based card game between two opponents, using constructed decks of 30 cards along with a selected leader(god) sitting on a Pedestal with a unique power.

the thing that distinguish World of Myths from the other popular digital Collectible Card Games is the use of a new battle system and not a version from The Gathering.

Gameplay

World of Myths is a digital-only, turn-based collectible card game which puts two opponents against each other. There are eight mythologies: Greek, Norse, Japanese, Egyptian, Mesoamerican, African, Chinese and Slavic with only the first three available for play. All mythologies have unique cards and abilities. Both players use a deck of cards from their collection with the end goal being to destroy opponent's temples or kill his leader.

All cards cost a certain amount of "faith", a budget each player must abide by which increases by one each turn with a maximum of ten and starting with three. This invokes strategy as the player must plan ahead, taking into account what cards can and cannot be played. Units will be placed directly onto the battlefield and may carry special effects allowing it to do something special upon an event.Each player has 3 temples. Your goal is to destroy your opponent’s temples:

  1. You select your attackers. You can have as many units attacking as you wish.
  2. You choose which temple you want to attack. Each temple gives a different reward if you win the attack.
  3. Your opponent has a chance to choose defenders and block your attack.
  4. The total attack power is compared to the total defense power, the winner for the battle is determined and spoils/rewards are received.

The above points repeat until you win the game, your opponent rage quits or your internet connection drops.One very important thing to understand about the battles in World of Myths is that there are no attacks between the individual units. They attack as a group and defend as a group. You don’t choose which unit to attack with your unit – you choose which temple to attack. The units in World of Myths have no HP.

Loyalty

Most digital Collectible Card Games encourage you to play with different classes/factions every day. In World of Myths, you will be rewarded to play exactly what you want and enjoy, and you can do it every day. By playing with the Mythology that fits your playstyle and preferences every day, you will gain Reputation Points with that Mythology which will unlock additional leaders

of this Mythology and other amazing content and rewards .

Faction Wars

World of Myths will have a World Map with each Mythology controlling its own regions. There will be organized contests for different areas of the map on a regular basis. The Mythology communities will decide by voting which area to attack or defend. 24 hours of 1vs1 battles will determine the winner and whoever gets more game victories will claim that territory for his Faction which will result in massive rewards and unlocked content.

Living Story Mode

World of Myths will have a storyline which will be affected by the players. The Living Story Mode is the singleplayer mode of World of Myths and will have it’s monthly chapter releases. Each chapter will contain 3 unique challenges against AI. And each fight will have its HINTED, special moment where you can change the story. The Living Story Mode will not be available during the early access of the game.

Mythologies[2]

Greek

You like to play the tricky one. All those spells hiding in your hand and the trojan horses on the battlefield. Bind to the Greek mythology and show your opponent that brute force is easily crushed by powerful mind.

Their default leader is Zeus with ability: ''Return to hand the first spell you play each round. It's immune to this ability now". Another available god for the greeks is Athena hepling you with "Your Center units get +1 power while defending and your Flank units get +1 power while attacking".[3]

Norse

Now this is what you call strength. Relying on heavy attacks with multiple units there are not many foes that stand a chance. Bind to the Norse mytholgoy and win all your attacks with ease.

Default leader is Odin with ability: "When you win attack with 2 or more attackers, all your units gain +1 power". Freyja is the name of the other available goddess helping you in your battles with the ability: "When a friendly unit with 4 or more power dies, your weakest unit get +1 power, +1 endurance".[3]

Japanese

You like the big powerful attacks that destroy your enemies without hesitation. If honor is deep into your hand and you have the affection for strange creatures then it is time to bind to the Japanese mythology.

Default leader is Amaterasu with ability: "When you win attack with single attacker, deal 1 damage to the strongest opponent temple". Praying to Hachiman he will give you additional power as his ability is: "While you have only one attacking unit, it has +2 power for the attack".[3]
