YCJY (aka Y/CJ/Y) is an indie game studio that consists of its two founding members: Christopher Andreasson and Josef Martinovsky.

History

Christopher and Josef studied game design in University of Skövde where they became friends. After a course in game prototyping they both realized that they shared the dream of making smaller indie titles. So Keep Walking was made in Christopher's bedroom, with some more work put into it later and released on itch.io.

The first commercial project, The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human, was also the first real sizable project Christopher had programmed and Josef had done art for. During that time they had a successful Kickstarter campaign for the game.^[1]

Y/CJ/Y then worked some extra jobs while also working on their second title Keep Driving, but without funding they had to put the project on hold as they jumped on a game they made for the No More Sweden game jam: Sea Salt. Since then, Sea Salt has been funded with a successful kickstarter campaign and also by Kowloon Nights, a Hong Kong/American game fund.^[2]^[3]
