Zack Smedley is an American author of contemporary young adult fiction.

Life

Smedley was born in southern Maryland.^[1]^[2] He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he earned a degree in chemical engineering.^[2]^[3]

Smedley has openly called himself "a member of the LGBT community."^[4]
