It was built in 1907 for the Jones family, who remained the property owners until 1926.[2] They sold it to W. D. Terry, Terry's founder, who died in 1958.[3] His son George sold the house in 1970.[2] The house was designed in the Queen Anne architectural style.[2] It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 2, 1984.[1] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2013a}} {{commons category|Dudley Jones House}}{{National Register of Historic Places}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Jones, Dudley, House}}{{Mississippi-NRHP-stub}}2. ^1 2 {{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=84002218}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Inventory/Nomination: Dudley Jones House |publisher=National Park Service|author= |date= |accessdate=December 17, 2018}} With {{NRHP url|id=84002218|photos=y|title=accompanying pictures}} 3. ^{{cite news |title=W.
