The 57-storey building was completed in March 1991 under the design by Denton Corker Marshall. Towards the end of project, with a change of developer, the foyer space was designed by Johnson Burgee.[1] The tower is currently the 4th tallest building in Australia when measured up to the tallest architectural point which is the {{convert|60|m|ft|adj=on}}-tall spire.[2] The tower contains {{convert|83000|m2}} of rentable space. The floor-to-ceiling height is unusually large for a skyscraper at {{convert|2.77|m}}. The {{convert|30|m}} lifts can reach speeds of {{convert|7|m/s}}. There are 414 underground car park spaces. The building contains double glazed windows with surface coated tempered glass which will increase thermal efficiency.
