Julia Elisenda (Eli) Grigsby is an American mathematician who works as an associate professor at Boston College.{{r|cv}} Her research concerns low-dimensional topology, including knot theory and category-theoretic knot invariants.{{r|birman|notices}} Education and careerGrigsby earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harvard University in 1999,{{r|cv|birman}} after earlier forays into biochemistry and physics.
