}} Elínrós Líndal is an entrepreneur in fashion design. She established ELLA fashion label in 2008, one of the first slow fashion brands in the world.{{citation needed|date=December 2017}} Elinrós was the brand's creative director and CEO. ELLA launched its first fashion line in April 2011. BiographyElinros holds a BA degree in Psychology and Mass Communication and an MBA from the University of Reykjavik. Elinros also studied classical ballet for 10 years at the National Theater of Iceland (Þjóðleikhúsið / Listdansskóli Íslands), and studied piano for 7 years. She has worked as a journalist and editor of Málið for Iceland Morning Paper Morgunblaðið. Prior to establishing ELLA, Elinros worked in fashion and worked for UN Women to raise money to end violence against women. Elinros Lindal made several fashion lines, accessories and perfumes for ELLA, but the company closed due to bankruptcies in 2015. The brand received international recognition for its business model and media coverage in Iceland. Author Jo Piazza did several interviews and coverage about the brand[1] as well as Vogue Italia, The New York Post[2] and other magazines. Elinros Lindal was elected Young Global Leader for the World Economic Forum in 2013 for her work in ELLA. ELLA fashion line stopped due to financial issues, but there is still demand for the brand especially for the perfumes.
