The mallee tree is multi-stemmed typically growing to a height of {{convert|6|m|ft|0}} with rough, grey coloured, fibrous-stringy bark on the trunk and lower stems that becomes smooth, grey to cream above. Adult leaves are a glossy green colour that are {{convert|133|mm|in|0}} long and {{convert|46|mm|in|0}} wide with a lanceolate to broad-lanceolate shape.[2] See also
