There are currently approximately 1000 students[1], spread out in 40 different classes, from nursery to secondary. While the school is a by law a public school, priority is given to children whose parents work at the European institutions based in Strasbourg, and it is difficult for other students to join the school.[2]. The students attending the school are from about 48 distinct nationalities, while the teachers also come from 13 different countries.[3] The school teaches in three different languages: French, English, and German.
