Production The series was filmed in Toronto, Canada, and many of the show's actors, and all of the show's episode directors, were Canadian.[2] Reception Caryn James of The New York Times was unimpressed with the series, stating "There's not much Mr. Carradine can do with such silliness except ratchet his acting up a few notches."[6] References 1. ^1 {{cite magazine |author= |url=https://variety.com/1997/film/reviews/tv-and-cable-production-chart-abc-pictures-1200450227/ |title=‘Tv and Cable Production Chart Abc Pictures’ |work=Variety |date=June 12, 1997 |accessdate=2016-02-21}} 2. ^1 2 {{cite magazine |author=John Dempsey |url=https://variety.com/1998/tv/news/showtime-axes-gelbart-fast-track-1117468670/ |title=Showtime axes Gelbart ‘Fast Track’ |work=Variety |date=March 11, 1998 |accessdate=2016-02-21}} 3. ^{{cite web |url=http://dvd.netflix.com/Movie/Fast-Track_-Season-1/70109943 |title=Fast Track: Season 1 |publisher=Netflix |accessdate=2016-02-21}} 4. ^1 2 From the United States Copyright Office catalog: {{cite web |url=http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&PAGE=First |title=Public Catalog - Copyright Catalog (1978 to present) - Basic Search [search 'Title': "Fast Track : no."; for first episode, search for: "Beckett's Return"] |publisher=United States Copyright Office |date= |accessdate=March 20, 2016}} 5. ^From the Writers Guild of America database: {{cite web |url=https://apps.wga.org/coveredprojects/default.aspx |title=Signatory Project Confirmation |publisher=Writers Guild of America, West |date= |accessdate=April 24, 2016}} 6. ^1 2 3 {{cite news |first=Caryn|last=James |url=https://www.nytimes.com/1997/08/02/arts/a-fast-track-doctor-for-plots-in-overdrive.html |title=TELEVISION REVIEW A Fast-Track Doctor For Plots in Overdrive |newspaper=The New York Times |date=August 2, 1997 |accessdate=2015-09-13}}
