Federal Supreme Court also retains jurisdiction, in certain circumstances, over exhaustive matters that no other type of Emirati court could look into. The court falls under the authority of the Ministry of Justice.[2] References1. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.tamimi.com/en/magazine/law-update/section-11/november-6/functions-of-the-federal-supreme-court.html|title=Functions of the Federal Supreme Court - Al Tamimi & Company|last=Company|first=Al Tamimi &|website=www.tamimi.com|access-date=2016-05-24}} 2. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.thenational.ae/uae/courts/boost-in-young-emirati-judges-as-uae-supreme-court-celebrates-40th-anniversary|title=Boost in young Emirati judges as UAE Supreme Court celebrates 40th anniversary {{!}} The National|website=www.thenational.ae|access-date=2016-05-24}} 2 : National supreme courts|Government agencies established in 1973 |
