Its official journal is Policy Insights from the Behavioral and Brain Sciences, which is published by SAGE Publications.[1] Member societies of FABBS include the American Educational Research Association, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback. Each society that is a member of FABBS pays dues to the organization to support its work.[2] HistoryThe Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences was founded in 1981 as the Federation of Behavioral, Psychological, and Cognitive Sciences. Its founding president was George Mandler.[3] In 2004, the organization established the Foundation for the Advancement of Behavioral & Brain Sciences.[4] In 2009, the organization was renamed to its current name, and the Foundation for the Advancement of Behavioral & Brain Sciences was renamed the FABBS Foundation. In 2015, the FABBS Foundation was merged into the Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences.[5] References1. ^{{Cite web |url=http://www.apa.org/science/about/psa/2018/02/behavioral-brain.aspx |title=Federation of Associations in Behavioral and Brain Sciences journal: Policy Insights from the Behavioral and Brain Sciences |date=February 2018 |publisher=American Psychological Association|website=Psychological Science Agenda |language=en |access-date=2019-01-06}} 2. ^{{Cite web |url=https://fabbs.org/support/membership/ |title=Scientific Societies |website=Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences |language=en |access-date=2019-01-06}} 3. ^{{Cite web |url=http://pages.ucsd.edu/~gmandler/shortvita.htm |title=George Mandler Curriculum Vitae |website=University of California, San Diego |access-date=2019-01-06}} 4. ^{{Cite book |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=wGCvHuIpfikC&pg=PA689 |title=Handbook of Psychology, Experimental Psychology |last=Weiner |first=Irving B. |authorlink=Irving B.
