The Bulldogs completed the season with a 3–5–1 record.[1] In addition to losing four-year letterman and All-American Bob McWhorter, Georgia also lost more than ten experienced players. The inexperience showed in lopsided losses to North Carolina, Virginia and Clemson. The season ended on a positive note with a tie between Georgia and Auburn. Quarterback David Paddock was also selected as an All-American in 1914.[2] Schedule{{CFB schedule| rankyear = no |{{CFB schedule entry | date = September 26 | w/l = w | nonconf = y | opponent = Dahlonega | site_stadium = Sanford Field | site_cityst = Athens, Georgia | score = 81–0 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 3 | w/l = w | opponent = The Citadel | site_stadium = Sanford Field | site_cityst = Athens | score = 13–0 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 10 | w/l = w | away = y | opponent = Sewanee | site_stadium = McGee Field | site_cityst = Sewanee, Tennessee | score = 7–6 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 17 | w/l = l | nonconf = y | neutral = y | opponent = North Carolina | site_stadium = | site_cityst = Atlanta | score = 6–41 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 24 | w/l = l | nonconf = y | away = y | opponent = Virginia | site_stadium = Lambeth Field | site_cityst = Charlottesville, Virginia | score = 0–28 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = October 31 | w/l = l | opponent = Mississippi A&M | site_stadium = Sanford Field | site_cityst = Athens, Georgia | score = 0–9 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 7 | w/l = l | opponent = Clemson | gamename = Rivalry | site_stadium = Sanford Field | site_cityst = Athens, Georgia | score = 13–35 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 14 | w/l = l | nonconf = y | away = y | opponent = Georgia Tech | gamename = Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate | site_stadium = Grant Field | site_cityst = Atlanta | score = 0–7 }} |{{CFB schedule entry | date = November 21 | w/l = t | neutral = y | opponent = Auburn | gamename = Deep South's Oldest Rivalry | site_stadium = Piedmont Park | site_cityst = Atlanta | score = 0–0 }} }} References1. ^{{cite web|title=1914 Georgia Bulldogs Schedule and Results|publisher=Sports Reference LLC|work=SR/College Football|accessdate=July 29, 2015|url=https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/georgia/1914-schedule.html}} {{Georgia Bulldogs football navbox}}{{collegefootball-season-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.georgiadogs.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/051702aaa.html|title=Georgia All-Americans}} 3 : 1914 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association football season|Georgia Bulldogs football seasons|1914 in sports in Georgia (U.S. state) |
