ResultThe result was much as expected, with turnout around two-thirds of what it had been in the previous year's general election. The Conservative candidate's majority was slashed in half, but the Liberal candidate slightly increased his vote, pushing Labour into third place. {{Election box begin | title=Dulwich by-election, 1932Electorate }} {{Election box candidate with party link||party = Conservative Party (UK) |candidate = Bracewell Smith |votes = 12,342 |percentage = 61.0 |change = -10.5 }}{{Election box candidate with party link| |party = Liberal Party (UK) |candidate = C.
