Early lifeGiroud was born on May 3, 1956 in Toulouse, France.[1][2][3] He graduated from the École Nationale des Chartes, and he passed the agrégation in History.[1][2] CareerGiroud taught History in Milan and Grenoble.[1][2] Giroud was a comics writer.
