CareerHolmlund grew up in Södertälje and started playing the guitar in his teens and also sanged in several Stockholm-based Rcok and Funkrock groups.[4] In 2011 the Heavy-metal band Desaiha was created and Holmlund played the base in the band.[5] In 2012 he met the new manager of the band called Yohio and befriended him.[6] Holmlund participated in Melodifestivalen 2013 as the base player for Yohio when he performed in the semifinal and final of the contest. As well as in Melodifestivalen 2014 when Yohio again participated in the contest.[3] In August 2014 Desaiha released their first music single called "Castiel" which reached number one of the iTunes-chart in the Rcok category.[7] Desaiha split in early 2015 and Holmlund became a member of the band Marsh where he plays guitar and he also provides vocals.
