The FreeX FXT is a German single-place, paraglider that was designed and produced by FreeX of Egling in the mid-2000s. It is now out of production.[1] Design and developmentThe FXT was designed as a mountaineering descent glider and was only built in a single size. It has shorter lines to facilitate taking off in smaller alpine spaces.[1] The aircraft's {{convert|8.8|m|ft|1|abbr=on}} span wing has 37 cells, a wing area of {{convert|20.9|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} and an aspect ratio of 5.1:1. The pilot weight range is {{convert|45|to|95|kg|lb|0|abbr=on}}. Like all FreeX wings it features internal diagonal bracing.[1] Specifications (FXT) {{Aircraft specs |ref=Bertrand[1] |prime units?=met |genhide= |crew=one |capacity= |length m= |length ft= |length in= |length note= |span m=8.8 |span ft= |span in= |span note= |height m= |height ft= |height in= |height note= |wing area sqm=20.9 |wing area sqft= |wing area note= |aspect ratio=5.1:1 |airfoil= |empty weight kg= |empty weight lb= |empty weight note= |gross weight kg= |gross weight lb= |gross weight note= |more general=
