It was described by Bernard Landry in 2002. It is found on the Galápagos Islands.[1] The wingspan is about 13 mm for males and 13.3–14 mm for females. The forewings are greyish brown with most scales white or beige at the base and brown to dark brown apically. The hindwings are pale greyish brown. Adults have been recorded on wing in January and March.
