It is the company's first MPV. The concept named "VF11" was shawn to public on 2017 Shanghai Auto Show. [1]The Jiaji provides L2-level automatic driving, intelligence pilot and RCW system. [2] on March 11 2019, Geely Jiaji was officially going on sale. A 6-speed manual version sells RMB 99800 was the cheapest. The hybrid version fixed price between RMB 192800 and 215800. [3] On 24 May 2017, PROTON Holdings parent company DRB-HICOM announced plans to sell a 49.9% stake in Proton to Zhejiang Geely Automobile Holdings.[4] In September 2018, PROTON Holdings secured the intellectual properties to the design, development, manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of the Geely Binyue alongside the Geely Boyue and Geely Jiaji.[5] OverviewGeely Jiaji was formly named VF11 until October 10 2018. The Geely Jiaji is the first produced MPV of Geely. It is based on Geely-Volvo SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture) Platform. Jiaji made a completion to Geely Vehicle products. In subcompact cars field, Jingang was the only product. However, Geely puts 5 compact vehicles onto the market: Emgrand, Emgrand GL, Vision, Binrui and Emgrand EV. Also, there are 2 excutive cars of Geely Borui and Geely Borui GE. The product line of SUVs is also plentiful. As the Jiaji developed to market sale on March 11, Geely broke a limit on its market. Geely Jiaji was set as a global model of Geely. Geely already made some achievement on global market sale in Malaysia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latin America and Africa.[6] TechnologyThe Geely Borui GE multimedia system provides touchable screen and is able to activate and control all systems in the car. The main screen takes some ideas from cell phone. In plug in models, there's also a key which infers users the electric vehicle settings. Some models provides Geely Full LED System. Jiaji also carries three types of power sources.
The petrol models carry a 1.8 L4 turbo engine and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. There are 4 valves on each cylinder. All cars carry 6 or 7 seats. Individual seats can be a choice. Electric park break and electronic gear shifts are available.
