}}Gerronema stevensonii is a species of agaric fungus in the family Marasmiaceae. It was first described by Miles Joseph Berkeley and Christopher Edmund Broome in 1875, calling it Cantharellus stevensonii. The fungus was named after Reverend John Stevenson, who in 1874 made the type collection in Glamis, Scotland. Roy Watling transferred the species to the genus Gerronema in 1998.[3] References1. ^1 {{cite book |author=Corner EJH. |title=A Monograph of Cantharelloid Fungi |year=1966 |location= Oxford and New York |publisher=Oxford University Press |page=134}} [1][2]2. ^1 {{cite journal |author=Watling R. |year=1998 |title=New combinations in the xeruloid Tricholomataceae |journal=Edinburgh Journal of Botany |volume=55 |issue=1 |page=157 |doi=10.1017/S0960428600004376}} }} External links{{IndexFungorum|444897}}{{Taxonbar|from=Q10504496}}{{Agaricales-stub}} 3 : Marasmiaceae|Fungi described in 1875|Fungi of Europe |
