释义 |
The Global Commission on Internet Governance, chaired by Carl Bildt and launched by two think tanks, the Canadian Centre for International Governance Innovation and UK-based Chatham House, was formed in January 2014 to make recommendations about the future of global internet governance.[1][2] It is also considered one of the international initiatives that facilitate effective cooperation between relevant international actors, particularly according to the principles of internet governance.[3] The Commission's research advisory network, led by Laura DeNardis, produces original research on Internet Governance topics such as the dark web, cybersecurity, and internet freedom.[4] For instance, a research published in January 2017 entitled Who Runs the Internet? The Global Multi-stakeholder Model of Internet Governance described a "multistakeholder" framework wherein the management of the global Internet architecture is in the hands of a cluster of international stakeholders such as industry, academic and non-governmental actors.[5][6] There is a criticism from some countries against the current attempts at a multistakeholder process that cite how these appear to be led by Western nations.[7] References1. ^{{cite press release|url=https://www.ourinternet.org/press/cigi-and-chatham-house-launch-global-commission-on-internet-governance-chaired-by-swedens-carl-bildt/ |title=CIGI and Chatham House launch Global Commission on Internet Governance, chaired by Sweden’s Carl Bildt |publisher=Global Commission on Internet Governance |date=2014-01-22 |accessdate=2017-05-19}} 2. ^{{cite web|author=Sean Silcoff |url=https://www.theglobeandmail.com/technology/tech-news/elite-global-group-fights-digital-spying-cybertheft/article23965395/ |title=Elite global group fights digital spying, cybertheft |publisher=The Globe and Mail |date=2015-04-15 |accessdate=2017-05-19}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/12/its-time-to-strengthen-global-digital-cooperation/|title=It's time to strengthen global digital cooperation|last=Leuthard|first=Doris|date=December 6, 2018|website=World Economic Forum|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=2018-12-07}} 4. ^{{cite web|last=Boyd |first=Aaron |url=http://www.federaltimes.com/story/government/cybersecurity/2015/02/17/mapping-dark-web-national-security/23552685/ |title=Paper: Mapping dark web an issue of national security |publisher=FederalTimes |date=2015-02-17 |accessdate=2017-05-19}} 5. ^{{Cite web|url=https://jamestown.org/program/cyber-sovereignty-and-the-prcs-vision-for-global-internet-governance/|title=Cyber Sovereignty and the PRC’s Vision for Global Internet Governance|website=Jamestown|language=en-US|access-date=2018-12-07}} 6. ^{{Cite journal|last=Governance|first=Global Commission on Internet|date=2017-01-17|title=Who Runs the Internet?
