Although the Spencer Davis Group is more known for jazz and blues infected songs, this collection is much more rock oriented.[3] The original vinyl album had 10 tracks,[4] but the CD release has bonus tracks that include "Touching Cloth", the B-side to the single "Mr. Operator",[5][6] and these latter two songs as previously unreleased rough mixes.[7] "Don't You Let It Bring You Down" backed with "Today Gluggo, Tomorrow the World" was also released as a single.[8] The personnel on this recording included three of the original four members.[9] ReceptionBillboard recommended the album for its mix of blues, folk, and rock.[10] The album charted as high as #206, appearing on Billboard "Bubbling Under the Top LPs" chart.[9]Track listing
