It was described by Meyrick in 1923. It is found in Ecuador.[1] The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are ochreous irrorated fuscous with a rather large transverse-oval fuscous spot in the disc at two-fifths, and a smaller transverse spot at two-thirds, the space between these clearer ochreous. The hindwings are pale grey, the basal half suffused ochreous-whitish and partially clothed with modified scales.[2] References1. ^funet{{dead link|date=January 2017 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13643625}}{{glyphidocerinae-stub}}2. ^[https://archive.org/stream/exoticmicrolepid03meyr#page/49/mode/1up Exot.
