GmbH, Sebaldsbrück a neighborhood in Hemelingen, a suburb of Bremen, Germany. The radiator producing company was later renamed to Goliath-Werke Borgward & Co. GmbH. It was built of a single axis cart with steerable wheels and attached tail of a motorcycle. Between cart a motorcycle it had an orthogonal wall with steering wheel, to control the front wheels. A windshield was offered optional. It already had an electric starter, coupling, 3-speed gearbox with one reverse gear. Electric lamps including a stoplight were an option, offered for RM 170, an electric horn was RM 30. The maximum load was 250 kg, driven by 198 cc, single cylinder, two-stroke-engine with 4 HP, produced by ILO-Motorenwerke. In 1928 a new version carrying up to 300 kg on a 250 cc, 5.5 HP engine came in production. In 1931 improvements allow up to 500 kg of freight. The pickup truck version with framed flatbed was RM 1100 and the closed freight box version was RM 1200. Odometer and passenger seat also were options. Goliath StandardMeanwhile, the 500 kg freight version Goliath Standard came in production with a 350 cc single cylinder two-stroke gasoline engine with 7.5 HP made by ILO-Motorenwerke. It was 1295 Reichsmark for the flatbed varition and 1440 Reichsmark for one with closed freight box or lid. It reached 40 km/h or 25 mph.[1] In 1931 a 750 kg freight version with two cylinder engine and 9 HP from 400 cc was introduced. In 1931 prices rose to 1600 and 1750 Reichsmark.
