Governor's Bridge is a road bridge in Stranmillis, south Belfast. It was opened in the early 1970s. The bridge forms part of a one-way system along with the neighbouring King's Bridge. Together they connect the Stranmillis and Annadale Embankments, with Governor's Bridge carrying traffic from the latter to the former.[1] {{River item box|upsub|River=River Lagan|downstream=King's Bridge|downsub=|location=|thisis=Governor's Bridge|type=|upstream=Shaw's Bridge (A55)}}References1. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/432595|title=The Governor's Bridge, Belfast (C) Albert Bridge|website=www.geograph.org.uk|language=en|access-date=2018-02-16}}
