[4] DescriptionGrapholita gemmiferana has a wingspan of {{convert|13|-|16|mm}}.[5][6][7] These moths are characterized by a basically slate-colored forewings, with an orange-ochreous color in the distal area, [7] also showing various silvery lines and spots. Females are usually darker. [8] This species is rather similar to Grapholita caecana. [5][7]BiologyAdult moths fly from April to July, caterpillars can be found from June to September.
