{{Short description|1=Diplomatic relations between the Hellenic Republic and Palestine}}{{Use dmy dates|date=February 2019}}{{Infobox Bilateral relations|Greece-Palestine|Greece|Palestine|filetype=png}}Greece-Palestine relations are bilateral relations between the Republic of Greece and the State of Palestine. Greece does not recognize Palestine as a sovereign country yet, even though the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is a member of the left-wing Syriza Party, which is known for its support for the Palestinians.[1] Otherwise, the countries have historic and friendly ties.[2] Palestine has an embassy in Athens. In December 2015, the Hellenic parliament voted unanimously in the presence of President Mahmoud Abbas to recommend to the government the full recognition of the state of Palestine on 4 June 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.[3]
