It is endemic to Australia.[1] The perennial glabrous shrub has a rounded habit and typically grows to a height of {{convert|1|m|ft|1}}. It has a reddish tinge to the branchlets. The terete yellow-green leaves are approximately {{convert|62|mm|in|1|abbr=on}} long and {{convert|2|mm|in|2|abbr=on}} wide.
