Kyombo was born in Dar es Salaam and played youth football with BQ Academy, Kinondoni FC and Simba B before starting his professional career with Lipuli FC in the Tanzanian First Division. After moving to Mbao FC in the 2017/2018 season, he had a good season under the guidance of Coach Ettiene Ndayiragije where he won FA Azam Federation cup's Golden Boot with 6 goals in 3 games. He was also shortlisted to challenge for both the Best Young Player and the Best Player in the Tanzania Vodacom Premier League due to breathtaking performances. Kyombo moved to Singida United in 2018. Personal lifeHabib Kyombo was born in Dar es Salaam. His father was a known amateur footballer who made his name known in different parts of Bukoba, Mwanza and Dar es Salaam. He was nicknamed "Pajero" because of his speed and acceleration. He used to take his son to football games every weekend since he was 5 years old and that's where the love of the game developed for Habib. His mother is a small business owner who sells different commodities. Club careerEarly CareerKyombo began his career at BQ Academy at the age of 6 where he played till he was 13 years old. Eventually he moved to Kinondoni FC, putting on a host of impressive performances leading to numerous Tanzanian Clubs attempting to sign him but he chose to go back home to BQ Academy where he then won the CECAFA RollingStone Cup's Golden Boot. After the Tournament, Simba SC signed him to their youth squad where he played for one year and left for Lipuli FC in the Tanzanian First Division. Mbao FC2017Kyombo made his first team debut in January 2017. He therefore became Mbao's youngest-ever First Team Player aged 16.He went on to score 6 goals in 10 games. 2017-18 seasonThis was a special season for Habib where he scored against all the big sides in the league, including the defending champions, Yanga SC where he scored a brace. In December, he was awarded the league Best player of the month. In the FA Azam Sports Federation Cup, he scored his first career hatrick. He ended up scoring 6 goals in 3 games and was awarded the golden boot that year. Singida UnitedOn 2 June 2018, Singida United announced the signing of Habib Kyombo from Mbao FC on a 3-year contract. He was handed the number 9 shirt upon arrival. International careerKyombo was called for the first time in the Tanzanian National Team set up for the U20s who were qualifying for the 2019 African Cup of Nations. He managed to feature in the matches against DRC Congo and Mali. He ended up scoring an away goal for Tanzania in a loss against Mali National Team. HonoursMbao FC
