The book was published by Tor Books on April 17, 2018.[1] Audible has released two audiobook editions, each with a different narrator, Amber Benson and Wil Wheaton. It is a standalone sequel to Lock In. Plot summaryHaden's Syndrome victims, called Hadens, continue to use Threeps to interact with the outside world. Some Hadens begin to play Hilketa, a football-like game, but with swords and hammers with a head instead of a ball. The two teams are made up of Hadens in Threeps. The goal is to decapitate the "goat" (one player chosen randomly throughout the game) and get the head through the goalposts. No one has ever died yet during a game until the beginning of the book. FBI agents are sent to investigate the death, since no one previously died before that incident. References1. ^[https://whatever.scalzi.com/2017/12/19/head-on-done/ Head On Done].
