She married the architect Aulis Blomstedt, and they had four children: Severi Blomstedt (1946–), Petri Blomstedt (1941-1997), Anssi Blomstedt (1945–) and Juhana Blomstedt (1937-2010).[2] Her father was the famous composer Jean Sibelius.
