It is located in the district of Hellemyr in the borough of Grim in the city of Kristiansand. The church is part of the Hellemyr parish in the Kristiansand arch-deanery in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, concrete church was built in 1988 by the architect Arild Lauvland.
